Activities for your children
Fill up on family activities in the Ardennes! Visit the Argonne Découverte wildlife park to observe numerous species and watch captivating shows.
Come and experience the thrills of accrobranche parks such as the Forêt’Vasion leisure and adventure park in Sivry-sur-Meuse, open daily in summer. Make the fun last at Domaine de Vendresse, a four-hectare bucolic park ideal forlearning, with its five playgrounds, 40 aquariums, fishing ponds and numerous activities. Equally fun, the corn maze at Montmédy promises happy family moments all summer long, with its many decors and animations along the way. Finally, go for a family hike, or simply enjoy the activities and playgrounds at your campsite near Reims!
Family activities in the Ardennes
The major sites in the Ardennes offer families a range of visit options to suit all ages. Your children and teenagers will be fascinated by medieval history when they visit Sedan castle and discover the workshops on offer. They can also take part in a life-size enigma in the historic center of Charleville-Mézières.
Finally, less than 10 minutes from the campsite is the Maison de la Nature in Boult-aux-Bois. This association offers free family outings to discover the flora and fauna of the Ardennes forests (booking essential). An opportunity to raise awareness and bring parents and children together around ecological issues.
Hiking and biking
With a bike rental store and a greenway just 20 minutes from the campsite, you’ll be able to explore the Ardennes at your leisure. Cycle through the region’s verdant valleys, passing picturesque villages and charming towns! If you’d rather go for a walk, there are a number of beautiful hiking trails from the campsite. Routes of all levels and distances, for the sporty and less sporty alike! Our team will be happy to advise you on your day or half-day excursions.
Finally, take advantage of your stay at our Ardennes campsite to discover the Argonne, a natural region ofponds and forests straddling the Marne, Ardennes and Meuse departments. La chapelle de Masmes”, a 13 km walk starting from the campsite, is just one of the many trails you can take. At the campsite reception, we’d be delighted to help you discover other trails.
Sports and outdoor activities
The Ardennes are a paradise for outdoor activities and sports enthusiasts. On the agenda for your vacation are soft mobility (cycling) and horseback riding, as well as a wide range of water sports: paddle, rowing, sailing, pedal boats and canoeing.
Do you have an adventurous spirit? Try other, more original activities such as rock climbing on exceptional geological sites. Or take to the skies to admire the rolling Ardennes countryside with a paragliding or hot-air ballooning experience!
